The sausage is very good. I thought it was gonna come in links, but it came in a whole ring so I had to cut it up into single servings. Also, I ordered this product on December 14 and it arrived 30 days later. I wish someone would explain that to me because I really can’t wait 30 days when I order your sausage Which makes me want ordered from somebody else now because of a 30 day delay

My dad always got our Italian sausage for Christmas dinner from an Italian man that had been making sausage for 40 years. He recently passed. I looked for a new sausage and read rave reviews about Esposito's sausage. This sweet Italian sausage did not disappoint. It brought us back to our childhood with its taste especially the fennel seed. The sausage arrived in Texas still frozen and intact. I will definitely be ordering some more. The sausage was so very yummy.

I thought it would be fresh since that's what the pictures show. If it's frozen say that on advertisement. Also ,if frozen need to pack in packs of 2 or 4 so I can put in freezer separately. It was hard to repack since it was frozen solid. I couldn't let it defrost and refreeze. I only ate 1 piece so I can't rate it fully yet.

Sorry it was pretty much the worst sausage I have ever had. It was terrible when hot. It had a strange rubbery texture. It was edible when I ate it cold with onion and peppers with every bite. But not enjoyable. No satisfaction at all. I have tried a lot of sausages in my day. I was so excited for it to arrive and cook it. Boo big disappointment. Don't waste your money on this one!!! Maybe they will send my money back. That would be nice.

I recently moved to Texas from New York/ New Jersey and found out that you can’t get good Italian sausage here. Luckily you can have it shipped from Esposito’s and enjoy life again. Now if you only had bread !!!!!

Have not tried the sausages as the packaging is terrible, the sausages are laid in a cardboard box in 3 layers and to use a sausage you have to defrost the entire 5 lbs. I have 4- 5 lb boxes of a product I can’t use as there are only 2 people in our family.
5 sausages shrink wrapped to amount to 5 pounds total would be reasonable. Esposito’s told me they would give me % off our next purchase but I will never order again

I’m an old Italian/Scotch Irish gal from CT living in New Mexico for the last 30 years. My Mom was all Italian so I cook like she did but good quality sausage is near impossible here in Albuquerque. Our friends hear us talk about the qua to sausages we got in Brooklynbut have now experienced it.
We moved to Richmond VA a few years ago and offen stock up when we go back to Brooklyn. As time moves on it’s not always easy to make the trip. We love chivelot sausages but they don’t know what the is in VA.
Our friends were bowled over by the flavor and the style of sausage. We love that we can have the taste of home without a 5 hours drive! I frequently went to the store when it was open in Brooklyn.
I highly recommend Esposito’s you will not be disappointed. Light up the grill, make your peppers and onions.

I did not taste any fennel or anus I thought they was going to have a nice flavor to them but they did not have no great flavor nothing to brag about they were okay but nothing for me to call somebody up and tell them hey you should get them they were excellent it wasn't that kind of a party and I'm from New Jersey right outside of Manhattan and I know how good Italian sources taste when they have that right flavor in them and that's what I was looking for but they did not have it I was disappointed that was is disappointed.

I'm on a quest to find the Italian sausage of my youth from the suburbs of Chicago. Fifty years later I don't live in Chicago anymore and this is the best sausage I've had, the spices, the kiss of fennel, all together to create an extraordinary Italian sausage. Sausages are very good - I prefer more fennel, but very good quality. I would echo some other comments about packaging. I don’t mind buying a 5lb box but it needs to have four or five individually wrapped packages so you don’t have to thaw it all out at once.

No grizzle very good , but tasted old because frozen to long. Wish I could try fresh cause feel would be great. Had great local made sausage when fresh , if frozen over 6 months , they are terrible, taste old. The sausage purchased were in that category.
