Sadly, I didn’t care for this product. I had hoped for a flavorful Argentine chorizo and it was bland and mealy. Not what I want in my choripan.

The first two orders arrived fresh and unfrozen. Thereafter, a different delivery carrier was used in order to minimize shipping costs, resulting in product being frozen and requiring consumers to thaw it before separating links. Pass the cost to consumers and do it as advertised: FRESH CHORIZO. I WAS ASSURED THAT ISSUE WOULD BE RECTIFIED. IT WAS NOT. I SHALL ORDER NO MORE.

Gotta tell the truth. I haven’t tried the chorizo yet. It arrived quickly and frozen solid. I’m going to have to partially thaw to separate into usable portions and freeze again. I’m giving five stars on faith…

My initial review of 8/6/22 figures prominently at top of reviews. Subsequent orders arrived fresh, unrefrigerated, and arrived shortly after shipping. Using a different carrier, last order was delayed, frozen, and arrived half-thawed. If delivery is not made fresh, I shall not be buying it.

Never had fresh Mexican chorizo before, only the cured Spanish chorizo. This was very different, but excellent. Well made, great seasonings, cooks up up with little fat, so you know it’s from quality cuts of pork. I made the most delicious huevos rancheros with the first couple of sausages, and I have plans for a number of tasty dishes with the rest. Will purchase again!

I have to say, there's no better way to impress someone from SoCal than to cook up some Huevos Rancheros made with the Espositos Chorizo. ........OMG...the best
